With height restrictions and neighborhood view corridors to be protected, this home was required to be a low-slung single story structure with an emphasis towards its amazing views of Catalina Island and the Pacific Ocean. A simple palette of dark stained cedar and grey limestone is used seamlessly both inside and out to blend interior and exterior spaces to make the residence feel as large as possible within the envelope constraints.
